Hello! My name is Christy Peterson. I am 25 years old. I was born in Jamestown, New York and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina. Photography has been a lifelong passion for me. I have been obsessed with documenting events with photos since middle school. While I might not have had the best equipment until a few years ago, this passion has turned into something that is incredibly important to me. I would like to become a full-time professional eventually, specifically for photographing concerts. Music is my other passion, but unfortunately, I was not blessed with the patience to learn an instrument. Photography, going to concerts, traveling, and listening to/talking about music are all my favorite activities. While I am not doing these things, I am typically working. I work two jobs, one full-time job as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist in Raleigh, NC, and a part-time job as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist in Henderson, NC. While I adore the work I do in hospital laboratories, my calling is for concert photography! I have been able to follow three tours so far for concert photography, and I have been to countless concerts over the years. Shows are the only places where I truly feel 100% like myself. Now that shows are starting back up again, I am ready to get serious with following my dream and being happy!

Hopefully one day soon, my dream will come true! Until then, I will enjoy the road along the way~
